We share a vision of providing programs for all to engage their minds, awaken their spirits, and encourage compassion for others.
The Religious Education program for our children and youth nurtures them both by valuing them as individuals and by providing a supportive community. Our goal is to help young people become responsible and caring citizens of the world while utilizing the principles and practices of Unitarian Universalism in their daily lives.

For Children
K–5 classes are held on Sundays during our 10 a.m. service. Children begin their morning with their parents in the Sanctuary and leave for their classes after the Story For All Ages. Religious Education classes meet in the lower level of the building and end at 11:15.
A successful RE experience for the child depends on regular attendance in order to create community and a clear understanding of the curriculum. Parents of nursery-aged children should fill out a child information form. All school-aged children attending a class should be registered. We welcome parental support for the RE program. If you would like to volunteer please contact the Director of Religious Education, Jennifer Pratt.
Our nursery staff care for infants and children not yet in Kindergarten. Nursery care is available during the service and is coordinated by Kate Stockwell.

We look forward to seeing familiar, friendly faces as well as meeting new friends throughout the year.

For Adults
Religious education classes are held at various times for adults. Whether following a particular curriculum, such as Building Your Own Theology, or studying a book, such as Karen Armstrong’s The Case for God, these classes allow adults of all ages to explore their faith and learn more in an interractive group setting.
• We have a variety of changing classes and discussion groups throughout the year. Please check the website and the newsletter or ask a greeter for more information.
• Our Learning About Unitarian Universalism class helps participants learn about Unitarian Universalism and the congregation by focusing on individuals’ religious journeys, UU history and beliefs, and groups and activities in our congregation.
• Small Group Ministry groups meet regularly for discussion, personal sharing, and service to the church or community.
